It’s not available anywhere, it’s an unreleased demo by an old friend of mine from 2001. I’m glad you like it… I’ll make it downloadable on soundcloud for awhile.
This track sounds like some rejected Kid A b-side instrumental… which is a compliment! listen if you like that sort of thing.
The City of Inky Cap
In 2000-02 i knew someone through the forum digitalnoise.org called Jack. He used to send me the tracks he made.
Since then i haven’t been able to contact him.
I am sharing his music here because it’s amazing and unique and deserves to be heard.
He managed to create an identifiable sound world in which every song is connected by a strange atmosphere, the atmosphere of a city. These sonic sketches comprise an imaginary soundtrack to the city of inky cap, filled with morel mushrooms, abandoned subways, and smog filtered moonlight.
His sound inspired me to make my own music, maybe it will inspire you.
